Diplomas and Transcripts
Diplomas and transcripts must be official documents when submitted to the Acupuncture Board. The Board can accept transcripts directly from each school where coursework was taken. Official unopened transcripts can be accepted from the applicant.
All foreign trained applicants shall submit documentation of their education to a Board-approved Credentials Evaluation Service. that is a member of a nationally recognized foreign credential association such as, but not limited to, the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and the National Association of Credentials Evaluation Services (NACES). The Service will conduct a course-by-course evaluation which shall be sent to the Board. A copy of the original transcript is also required and must be provided by the Service.
